Palma (Mallorca) | 2020
The Belgian-style craft beer made in Mallorca has opened its own bar. It is located in the old convent of Santa Magdalena, in Palma. When it was proposed to me to decorate its vaults, it was clear from the beginning that this space was ideal for creating a small tribute version of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel.
To integrate the original murals with the beer theme, I have created a sequence divided into the 5 vaults to represent their process: Consequat (recipe), Praeparatio (preparation), Petere (order), Server (serve) and Gustans (taste).
