The loss of oxygen in the seas is suffocating their marine ecosystems. The main cause of this is human action, which creates the so-called dead zones, and because of this, marine species are forced to migrate or simply drown.
The main causes of dead zones are nutrients, wastewater, fertilizers and agrochemicals that flow into rivers and end up in the oceans.
